Welcome, and thank you for looking at our site. My name is John Seals. My wife, Jan Seals and I own Seals Photography in Gladstone, Missouri. Let me tell you a little about myself, and my style of work. I picked up my first camera, an old Nikon F, when I was 14 years old. I started taking any classes I could, at school and from working professional photographers in the Kansas City area. I shot my first wedding during my senior year in high school, in 1974. I fell in love with wedding photography, and have been doing it ever since. After working for other photographers off and on for over 20 years, I opened Seals Photography in 1997. After I married my childhood sweetheart in 2019, my wife Jan joined me in the studio. We expanded our line of products to include high school seniors and families along with weddings.

Our philosophy is simple: Quality images and service at prices that most people can afford. We believe that everyone should be able to have amazing images of their Senior, Family, or Wedding. Photography is timeless, and one of the few ways to remember your special day. We offer small packages that will fit almost any budget, to all day coverage for large events. We deliver images on a flash drive that are color corrected, touched up, and ready to print. We offer albums that are not only beautiful, but are made of high quality materials that will last for generations. Jan and I cover every session with two shooters and multiple cameras.
